La Fogita’s 🌽  Esquite (Street Corn Style)

Creamy, spicy, cheesy, and layered just right.

Ingredients: 

  • Fresh corn kernels (cut off the cob)
  • H-E-B Mi Tienda Mayonesa con Limón
  • Las Delicias de Honduras Crema Hondureña
  • Mi Tienda Queso Cotija (grated)
  • Spanglish Asadero Elote Seasoning
  • Valentina Hot Sauce
  • Fresh lime wedges
  • Cayenne Pepper for extra spice

🔥 How to Make It

1. Grill the Corn
    •    Grill, the corn until slightly charred for extra flavor.
    •    Season lightly with Spanglish Asadero Elote seasoning while warm.

2. Build the Layers (this is the magic ✨)
In a clear cup, layer in this order:
    1.    Corn
    2.    Drizzle of mayonesa con limón
    3.    Drizzle of crema hondureña
    4.    Sprinkle of queso cotija
    5.    Splash of Valentina hot sauce

👉 Repeat the layers until the cup is full.

3. Finish It Off
    •    Top with extra queso cotija
    •    One more drizzle of crema
    •    Finish with Valentina and a light dust of elote seasoning & Sprinkle of Cayenne pepper
    •Serve with a lime wedge on the side

🌶️ Tips:

  • Want it spicier? Add more Valentina between layers.
  • For extra richness, go heavier on the crema in the middle layers and some More Cayenne pepper in between the layers.
