Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Ground beef, any kind
  • 2 packs white American cheese slices
  • 1 cup milk, adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, adjust to taste
  • 1 can Rotel, original/mild/hot
  • Beef seasonings of choice, to taste (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning, onion powder, Italian herbs mix)
  • Paprika, for seasoning
  • 1 cube Maggie's chicken stock, crushed
  • Tortilla chips, to serve

Directions

  1. Place your Lifespace Quality 3 Piece Matt Black Cast Iron Skillet Pan Set on the stove over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Ensure the meat reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  3. Once the beef is fully cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet if necessary. Reduce the heat to low.
  4. Add the crushed Maggie's chicken stock cube and mix well, allowing it to dissolve into the meat for added flavor, about 1 minute.
  5. Layer the white American cheese slices over the beef in the skillet, then pour in the milk and heavy whipping cream. Stir gently to combine until the cheese begins to melt, about 2-3 minutes. Keep the heat low to prevent burning.
  6. Stir in the can of Rotel, along with your chosen beef seasonings and a sprinkle of paprika. Continue to cook until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately with tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
