Kathy Pullin's Sassy Apple Dumplings
Kathy Pullin’s Apple Pie Dumplings turn a handful of simple ingredients into a warm, comforting dessert that tastes just like homemade apple pie. Flaky biscuits wrapped around cinnamon-spiced apples and baked in a buttery sweet sauce make this an easy crowd-pleaser from the grill or oven.

Ingredients
- 2 large apples peeled, cored
- 1 package of grands flaky biscuits
- 1 lemon
- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions
- Slice each apple into 8 equal slices, place in bowl and squirt some lemon juice.
- In a separate bowl combine melted butter, water, sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- While your grill or oven is heating up to 350 degrees, take your biscuits layers divide them into 3 pieces per biscuit.
- Take 1 piece of apple, wrap in biscuit layers, and repeat.
- Place in cast iron skillet and pour sugar mixture over top.
- Place in grill or oven bake 20 minutes covered and 25 additional.
- Remove and Enjoy!
