Ingredients
- 2 lbs chuck roast
- 6 small to medium potatoes peeled and quartered
- 1 yellow onion peeled and quartered
- 5 stalks celery sliced
- 1.5 cups carrots chopped
- 16 oz beef broth
- 16 oz water
- 2 teaspoons Sassy BBQ Rub
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground Oregano leaves
Directions
- Salt and pepper both sides of roast
- Seer in hot, cast iron Lifespace potjie pot
- Add all vegetables sprinkle your rub mixture
- Pour in the broth and water
- Cover cook in an oven or pit at 350° for 3 hours
- TIP: Make sure cast iron is hot prior to adding meat for browning.
