Behind these rubs is Kathy Pullin — the pitmaster they call the BBQ Queen. Kathy got her start helping out at the American Royal, the biggest stage in barbecue, and moved to Texas in 2002 after leaving domestic violence behind her. She built her craft the hard way, catering nights and weekends as Sassy Sauceless BBQ while working full-time, until she launched Pullin Premium BBQ in 2011 and never looked back. Today she cooks full-time — appearing regularly on San Antonio's SA Living, cooking for musical artists and TV personalities, and giving back as a proud survivor and advocate.
